As pointed out in our earlier video, the global population was estimated to be around 500 million in the year 1500 AD, whereas the global population is 7.6 billion now.
This 15+ fold increase in population could not be just by natural growth, and immigration and/or migration should have been a large part of it.
For example, US was estimated to have had at most single digit millions in population in the year, 1500 AD, and now it is close to 320 million.
